I haven't been studying or reading much about anatomy for quite some time now not to mention lifedrawing classes. We did have lifedrawing classes on the monday evenings at Django (during "The Illusionist"), but at some point there simply wasn't enough space anymore.
Since I spend most of my time now animating rather "cartoony characters" I think it's quite important to remind and refresh yourself of how the real "machine" is built, how it works, and actually looks.
I found some links to great books as pdf files on
http://processjunkie.blogspot.com/Books like:
"Der nackte Mensch" by Gottfried Bammes
"Construction Anatomy" and
"The Human Machine" by George Bridgman
just click on the booktitle and you'll be forwarded.
